Process and IT

The „process and application landscape model – PAL“ is a procedure model for integrated process and IT planning along the whole supply chain – for purchasing, production, warehouse and distribution.
More

Via an as-is analysis and a weak point analysis, the relevant company process landscape is investigated on site and analyzed regarding weak points. This is followed by a visualiza-tion of the weak points in the processes, the organization and the IT.

The standard documentation is done with MS Visio following the BPMN-model (Business Process Model and Notation). In consultation with the customer, a different form of doc-umentation can be agreed upon at the beginning of the project.

Based on the identified weaknesses a to-be concept is developed, which includes actions for organization, processes and IT. These actions are prioritized and show a possible ap-proach to realize optimization potentials. The prioritization is initially done by integral and afterwards discussed and finalized with the customer in iterative steps.

The identified potentials are documented according to a process- and IT-roadmap. This results in an optimized “process and application landscape”.

Following up the previous steps a recommendation for an IT-provider can be given. Thereby an evaluation of potential, if necessary global operating, providers is done. After that a preselection, based on knock-out criteria which are defined with the customer, is done. Afterwards a final selection follows, which evaluates the IT-provider by using com-pany and function criteria as well as monetary criteria.

outsourcing

Outsourcing can be a good way to reduce costs, increase efficiency and strengthen your core business at the same time. By outsourcing your logistics or parts of it, you can save a lot of money – but only with an adequate partner and an accurately planned project.
More

For many companies logistics is not the core competence but still affecting the business model with unnecessary complexity. That’s why an external solution is generally faster and more efficient, as synergies und economies of scale can be exploited through bundling. The foundation for a profound decision is total clarity about existing processes as well as requirements and expectations concerning the potential service provider. On the one hand integral supports companies concerning the question whether outsourcing is reasonable in general. On the other hand integral accompanies the whole tendering process, from initial analysis and the vendor selection up to the transformation and realization of the project.
